Texas allows a person or company to qualify for both assessment and remediation licenses, but the same party generally may not conduct both activities on the same project.
Remediation companies and contractors are regulated
TDLR maintains licensing requirements for mold remediation companies and mold remediation contractors. We do not publish an unverified license number on this site.
The 25-square-foot notification threshold
TDLR states that a Mold Remediation Notification is required when mold contamination affects a total surface area of 25 contiguous square feet or more and remediation will be conducted.
